The building is located adjacent the Coliseum stadium and Oracle Arena separated by the I-880 freeway. The Driver Safety Office (DSO) is in the twelve-story Oakland Tribune building. There are no Department of Motor Vehicles signs on the exterior of the building. The two parking lot entrances are located on the north and east sides of the building at Hassler Way (north) and Oakport Street (east).
Enter Suite 2075, the Driver Safety Office lobby. Travel the hallway to the first door on the right.Take the elevator to the second floor and exit to the right. The elevator is directly in front of the main entrance.Enter the building through the double glass doors (main entrance).At the end of the ramp, turn left to the main entrance of building 390. The wheelchair access ramp is in front of the disabled parking stalls.Ten disabled parking stalls are located at the end of the driveway in front of Building 390. Note: The Driver Safety Office does not validate parking. Upon entering the parking lot, there is a booth and an electronic security gate to obtain an hourly parking ticket.There are three buildings in this complex (300, 360 and 390). The Driver Safety Office (DSO) is located in the LAX Business Center complex, building 390. Pacific Coast Highway, six blocks south of Imperial Hwy, between Grand Ave. The main parking lot entrance is located on the east side of N. The entrance is marked “City of Orange Driver Safety – Suite 420.” Follow the wall leading to the Driver Safety Office public access door on the left.After exiting the 4th floor elevator lobby, turn left and proceed down the hall.Take any public elevator to the 4th floor. Enter the building through either the front or rear to arrive at the main lobby.Continue past the building and turn right to locate six other disabled parking stalls on the right side (at the rear of the building). Two disabled parking stalls are located ahead on the right (at the side of the building).After entering the main parking entrance driveway, turn left at the first opportunity (approximately 85 yards from the entrance) to access the parking lot.The main parking entrance is accessible from The City Drive. The Driver Safety Office is located in the Orange City Square. The main parking lot entrance is located on Eastern Avenue just north of Slauson Avenue in a six-building business complex.
